We’ve put together some of your most frequently asked questions and answered them in detail below. However if you need more information you are most welcome to contact Therapy Roots Beauty & Holistic Training using the following details:

All GTi (Guild Training International) courses and advanced workshops are recognised in the industry. For the refresher days your original qualification will still be valid for you to obtain insurance. We will provide you with a Certificate of attendance.

1. Do the staff have teaching qualifications and are they actively working within the industry? All our trainers are still currently working out in industry and all have a teaching qualification
2. Will the course enable me to get membership and insurance with one of the beauty associations? Yes
3. What kind of support does the school give to students after completing a course? Laura Brady is available from Monday to Friday 9am til 5.30 by email or telephone if you have any questions.

All GTi (Guild Training International) courses are insurable with The Guild.
With the advanced workshops these have been accredited with The Guild for you to obtain insurance.
For the refresher days your original qualification will still be valid for you to obtain insurance. We will provide you with a Certificate of attendance.

Yes. You can put down a 50% deposit and the balance is due two weeks prior to the start of the course. We regret that deposits are non-refundable.

Yes. Our lecturers all hold a teaching qualification in the qualifications they teach. Laura Brady is an Assessor and Quality Assurer and has 22 years’ experience and Amy-elle has 14 years’ experience in the industry.

All equipment and products are provided for your training on the day but kits can be pre-ordered from us to be here for the start of your course.

The day is mostly practical, which will give you the experience you need to master your skill. You will be working on fellow students and models provided by YOU, so you can receive the treatment yourself as well as give the treatment.

On average they run from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Evening courses are from 6pm to 9pm. These times vary for some courses and workshops.

Professional uniform is preferred or a plain black, short-sleeve top and black trousers. Jewellery is to be removed and your hair tied back off your face. NO Acrylic or Gel Nails for the holistic therapies please.

Yes. All courses will go ahead, although if there is only one person on the course you will be required to bring a model.

Full post-course support is offered. This can be done through email, telephone or in person, and all our students are encouraged to stay in touch.

If English is not your first language, and you think you may find our course difficult to understand, then please tell us before you start so we can make arrangements needed for your success on the course. An interpreter can be used to help in the process – this is at your own expense.

Deposits and course payments are non-refundable. In the event of a genuine reason for cancellation (of which proof may be required) a request for transfer to a later course will be considered at the discretion of Therapy Roots Beauty & Holisitc Training.
