Waxing is an excellent addition to any treatment menu and provides repeat business as it is an essential maintenance option for many clients. The GTi Waxing Course meets the Habia National Occupational Standards and covers the various types of hair removal, anatomy and physiology, skin disorders and diseases, contra-actions and contra-indications, reception, consultation, ventilation, technique, and aftercare.
Once you have booked your training course, you will be able complete the theory modules for the course right away. Once you have completed the theory modules, your practical session can be booked.
Duration: 2 days plus half day assessment – Practical days are one month apart. Assessment day is one week later and you will be required to provide a model.

Alternatively you may wish to upgrade this to the City & Guilds qualification

Kit required: None. But you will be required to have a waxing kit for your case studies. Plus a treatment couch is advisable.
A kit can be purchased direct from us and ready for collection on Day 1 of training
Entry requirements: None
We work in pairs so if you are not prepared to have the waxing treatment yourself you will be required to bring your own model, one hour after the start of the training. Please notify us when enrolling if you will be bringing your own model.
